Registering your working time

TimeR is a time registration tool for FileMaker. It allows you to track all business-related work, across any number of projects or businesses. The tool is developed as a simple, generic solution, allowing to create reports over any given time, for any type of work. As an open FileMaker file, it is easy to make adaptations or include it in a solution of your own.

How it works

Each timeslot is a record in a table. You start and stop the time and assign projects and details, by which you can sort and summarize your time later. The result is a report over any given time for any type of project or just to let the tax authorities know you did work for your company. Example: Dutch tax authorities (Netherlands) require you to prove a certain number of hours for your company per year to be able to get benefits.

Not for billing

The original set-up for TimeR is to record your hours. Not just hours you can bill to your clients, but any other work as well, like maintaining your website, cleaning the office, doing bookkeeping, marketing, having meetings you cannot bill, etc.

While this application is not for billing clients, you can, of course, enhance its functionality. TimeR is an open FileMaker file you can use any way you, as a licensee, want.

Requirements

TimeR is FileMaker-based solution and will run on any platform where FileMaker runs. We strongly encourage you to use the latest version of FileMaker. Use older versions at your own risk.
