FM Starter is a designer’s assistant for all those who design FileMaker solutions.

The product includes 10 themes and is an elegant help for creating your own themes.

Yes, FM Designer is a perfect companion to FM Starter. FM Designer uses the same style sheets as FM Starter (from FM Starter 2.15), but offers 9 more designs.

Yes, although each design can be used out of the box, all designs can be customized.

If you need to make adjustments, we recommend that you duplicate a design and make the adjustments to that copy. The manual describes how to do this.

FM Designer is a FileMaker file. All designs are part of this file. A theme can be imported directly from this file into another project. Then you can immediately apply the theme to your solution.

For details on how to do this, see the manual and videos. It is also suggested taking a look at the FileMaker Help on the topic.

FM Designer is a FileMaker file in FMP12 format and can be easily opened in FileMaker Pro 12 and later.

With the purchase of a license you as a licensee acquire a personal right of use for yourself and your team, as long as they are in one place. You can use, change or add to the examples as you wish.

You may not pass on, distribute, make available free of charge or for a fee to anyone else. The only exception is when you, as a FileMaker developer, receive a license from a customer, which allows the developer to incorporate designs into the customer’s project. In this case, the developer may not use FM Designer for other customers. If the developer wants to use the designs for other customers, the developer must have a separate license.

Principle: The rights of use are for the licensee. Designs cannot be passed on or made available to others. Anyone using the design should have his own license.

The license terms are included with the software and can also be viewed here on the website.
